This two-day course introduces international nuclear safeguards administered by the IAEA, and related export-control regimes, from a Canadian perspective. It is an inaugural CNLC launch offering, delivered by Canadian Nuclear Laboratories in collaboration with the Canadian Nuclear Learning Centre and AEMS Academy at the University of Toronto.
Sessions are lectures and exercises. Participants (apportioned among undergraduates, graduates, and professionals) who complete the course receive a certificate of completion jointly recognized by CNLC and AEMS Academy. It is intended for graduate students in nuclear engineering and related fields (including policy and law), senior undergraduates, and industry professionals.
